Noah founded Alegra Learning with a vision to empower kids around the globe to be architects of their own future. Previously Noah built partnerships in the US to help some of the largest school districts in the country serve English Language Learners and with digital learning programs. Noah's passion is to help kids across the globe learn English and values.
Dianne has devoted her life to serving students, working as a teacher, an author, a literacy coach, an instructional designer, and more. With extensive experience in ESL, Dianne has impacted millions of students over her career, and continues to help many more with her groundbreaking work on Joy School English.
Carter's career has focused on delivering creative products—everything from producing films in Hollywood, to building digital games in the EdTech sector. At Alegra Learning, Carter is committed to providing students with the most engaging experience possible, leveraging technology to immerse students in a thrilling learning environment.
An accomplished leader in education, Emma has a history of producing remarkable outcomes for English learners. She spent 30 years in the Chula Vista Elementary School District in various positions, including bilingual teacher, reading coach, principal, principal coach, and Executive Director for the Department of Language and Instruction and member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet.
Kevin is a successful businessman and philanthropist from Shanghai, China. In 2014 he founded Imagination Education, a company committed to teaching English to thousands of kids across China. His passion for providing quality education is exemplified in his work providing scholarships to over 1,000 under-served students. Kevin is the 2018 recipient of the Education Industry Leader award.
With a Master’s and PhD in Instructional Psychology and Technology, as well as a Master’s degree in Public Administration, Tonya is passionate about developing effective learning technologies that are robust and built on a bedrock of proven research. An experienced teacher herself, Tonya has taught young students as well as teachers and professors alike.
An expert in developing educational technology, Sean has over 10 years of experience making engaging educational software for many subjects, including English, math, programming, and art. Sean has been at the forefront of the research of using of AR in education, and is as a member of the HTC Vive Developer Program, pioneering research in the use of virtual reality in education.
Chris has more than 25 years of experience working with some of the largest education and technology companies, including IBM, Microsoft, Pearson, Waterford, and Imagine Learning. In addition to managing the branding and marketing for award-winning software programs, he has led the design and production of hundreds of children’s education books and manuals, with millions of copies in print.
As a world traveler and linguist himself, Devon is passionate about bringing English and opportunities to students across the world.He’s worked for over 20 years in tech companies great and small, including Yahoo!, Imagine Learning, and more. He’s spent the last 10 years overseeing large and small EdTech implementations, including rollouts in school districts across San Francisco and San Jose.
